Keplr Vision, LLC Integrated Systems Studio

Sharp focus on clinical systems steady integration, clear sightlines for every network FOCUS

Keplr Vision, LLC is a computer integrated systems design consultancy built for clinical eye care networks that run on real optics, real rooms and real patient flow. From our studio at 1705 Tullamore Ave Ste A, Bloomington - 61704-9600, United States (US) we bring diagnostic devices, exam room networks and imaging platforms into one coherent, dependable system. Six instruments on the rack

Integrated systems design for eye care, sleeve by sleeve

Each instrument below is a working service of Keplr Vision, LLC. We treat every engagement the way an examiner treats a slit lamp: align the light, hold it steady, and read what the surface actually shows. Together these six services cover the whole path from device firmware to the exam room wall.

A

Clinical Network Systems Integration

We bind diagnostic devices, scheduling, records and imaging into one clinical network so a technician never rekeys a patient between rooms. Our integration work maps every device handoff, every VLAN and every interface so the exam room behaves as a single instrument rather than a drawer of disconnected tools.

C

Diagnostic Device Software Design

When a device vendor ships a capture utility that cannot speak to the rest of the suite, we design the missing software. That might be a driver bridge, a calibration helper or a clean operator interface sized for gloved hands under dim examination lighting.

Sleeve C
D

Patient Data Pipelines

We build the pipelines that carry measurements from the instrument to the record and onward to the referring clinician. Every pipeline is written to be auditable, encrypted in motion and at rest, and gentle on the network so an imaging burst never stalls the front desk.

F

Exam Room Network Audits

We walk the clinical floor the way a technician walks it, from the chin rest outward. An audit documents every cable run, every port, every latency spike and every single point of failure so leadership can plan upgrades with facts rather than guesses.

Sleeve E
G

Imaging Platform Rollouts

Rolling out a new fundus, OCT or topography platform touches scheduling, storage, viewing and training all at once. We stage the rollout room by room so patient throughput never stops and every captured image lands where it belongs on the first try.

K

Vendor Systems Root Cause Engineering

When a vendor system fails and the vendor points elsewhere, we take the case. We trace from symptom to signal, reproduce the fault under controlled conditions, and deliver a written root cause with a fix the clinical team can actually apply.

Keplr Vision, LLC opens its autumn onboarding window for clinical eye care networks that want their exam rooms behaving as one instrument.

Why clinical eye care needs a systems studio, not a general contractor

An eye care network is an unusual computing environment. A single exam room may host a slit lamp, an autorefractor, a fundus camera, a visual field analyzer and a chair that all speak different dialects of the same protocol, then hand their output to a scheduling system that was never designed to receive it. General information technology contractors see five separate devices. We see one clinical instrument that happens to be assembled from five boxes, and we design around that reality.

Keplr Vision, LLC was founded on a simple observation: the most expensive failures in clinical eye care are rarely dramatic. They are quiet. A measurement that does not reach the record. A capture folder that fills and stalls. A latency spike that makes a technician repeat an exam because the image did not save. Each of these costs chair time, and chair time is the true currency of a clinic. Our clinical network systems integration work exists to remove that hidden tax.

We design for the dim room

Clinical systems are used in near darkness, by people wearing gloves, with a patient waiting. That context shapes every interface we design. Contrast matters. The position of a button on a touchscreen matters. Whether a status light is visible from across the room matters. We build for the room as it actually is, not for a product demonstration under studio lights.

We design for the handoff

The most fragile moment in any clinical network is the handoff between one system and the next. That is why our patient data pipelines are documented as carefully as they are built. Every transformation, every field mapping and every failure path is written down so the practice owns the knowledge, not a single departing technician.

What the studio brings to a network

We work as an embedded systems partner for clinical leadership, practice managers and the technicians who live in the exam room every day.

Rooted in Bloomington, working network-wide

Our studio sits at 1705 Tullamore Ave Ste A, Bloomington - 61704-9600, United States (US). From there we serve clinical eye care networks across the region, on site for audits and rollouts and remote for pipelines, software and root cause work.

How an engagement runs

From first observation to steady state

Every engagement follows the same disciplined arc, whether it begins with a single malfunctioning device or a full network redesign.

  1. Observation on the clinical floor We walk the rooms, watch the actual workflow, and record what the systems do rather than what their manuals claim. This is where we run our exam room network audits.
  2. Signal-level diagnosis We separate symptom from cause, produce the fault under controlled conditions, and document the evidence chain.
  3. Design and integration We design the missing bridge, the corrected pipeline or the replacement interface, and we integrate it into the live network without a shutdown.
  4. Rollout and validation We stage changes room by room and validate results against the original clinical requirement, not against our own assumptions.
  5. Documentation and handover The practice receives written records it owns, so the knowledge stays in the room long after our team steps out.

Sharp focus, steady hands, clear sightlines. That is the whole method.

Software where the vendor stopped

Clinical eye care runs on a long tail of specialized hardware, and specialized hardware often ships with software that was never meant to live inside a modern network. Our diagnostic device software design practice exists for exactly those gaps. We write the adapter that lets an older capture station speak to a current records system. We rebuild a configuration panel so a technician can recalibrate a device without a service call. We design lightweight operator interfaces that respect the reality of gloved hands and low light. When a device is physically sound but digitally stranded, software design is the bridge that returns it to service.

The imaging rollout problem

Imaging platforms are the most demanding rollouts in any eye care network. Storage grows quickly, viewing workloads spike when several examiners open studies at once, and training cannot be skipped because a misread folder means a repeated exam. Our imaging platform rollouts sequence all of these concerns deliberately: storage and network first, viewing second, workflow training last, with a validation pass in every room before the platform is declared live.

Root cause is a discipline, not a slogan

When a vendor system fails, the pressure is to restart it and move on. That restores the room but destroys the evidence. Our vendor systems root cause engineering service treats every failure as a case to be solved. We capture the state before anything is cleared, reproduce the fault under controlled conditions, trace it to the precise signal or configuration that caused it, and deliver a written report with a fix the clinical team can apply and verify. The goal is not a reboot. The goal is a fault that never returns.

One studio, accountable end to end

We deliberately keep the six services under one roof because clinical problems refuse to stay inside a single discipline. A latency spike may be a pipeline issue, a firmware quirk or a network segment fault, and only a team that works across all three can say which with confidence. That is the reason Keplr Vision, LLC exists as an integrated systems studio rather than a collection of separate vendors. It is also why a single call to our Bloomington studio can begin with a symptom and end with a verified fix.
